For over two decades Dorothy Fait has advocated, fundraised, and fought to empower and protect survivors of domestic violence, while increasing resources, promoting education and prevention, and collaborating with task forces, non-profits, legislators, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in the fight to end domestic violence.
Often recognized for her lifelong contributions, Dorothy was mostly recently awarded the Forerunner Award by the Montgomery County Family Justice Center Foundation in 2015, for her continued role as Foundation Treasurer, legislative activism, and dedication to the pursuit of ending the cycle of domestic violence
