Best Apps to Help With Co-Parenting

Co-parenting is a tough job. You may have different schedules, or maybe it’s hard to communicate with your ex, and you need help. The good news is that you can use tools to help minimize confusion and make coordinating with your ex easier.

Here’s a list of apps that are sure to make your co-parenting job easier:

Our Family Wizard

Our Family Wizard is one of the most-used and most popular co-parenting apps. A character used it as a product placement in the feature film “Mile 22” with Mark Wahlberg. This app is recommended by judges for parents, allowing them to use everything documented using the app in a child custody court case.

What sets them apart from other apps? Our Family Wizard has an innovative website and downloadable app so that parents have 24/7 access to the information they need about their child’s visit. Family law attorneys are even using this app to assist their clients better.

Features

  • Share messages
  • Read receipts
  • Document Expenses
  • Keep track of events
  • Share & make new calendars

This app allows you to document everything, and it’s the most reliable, extremely functional, and user-friendly. The app is free and available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

AppClose

If you’re looking for a free and trusted app that has been around for a few years, this app is a great choice. Like Our Family Wizard, AppClose has the stamp of approval by family law attorneys, and anything documented in the app can be used in court.

Features

  • Messaging
  • Share calendars
  • Track expenses
  • Send notes to people outside of the app
  • Send emails
  • Communicate using social media

As you can see, this app has a robust platform of features. It even has a system that allows you to scan receipts, request payment reimbursements, and settle payments electronically using their built-in “ipayyou” platform.

Download on Google Play and the App Store.

coParenter

This app is a little different than the others on our list. With coParenter, you will have access to a team of mediators, therapists, child specialists, and retired judges to assist you with issues. They pride themselves on providing live, on-demand mediation at your fingertips — anytime.

For access to these resources, coParenter costs $12.99 per month and charges each parent $119.99 per year, or you and your ex can split the $199.99 cost per year for two parents. Some courts also approve it for documentation like the others.

Please find a list of their pricing and download the app from their site.
