Michael Fortin

Michael Fortini is a highly experienced trial attorney barred in the State of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He is an alumnus of The American University, Washington College of Law, where he graduated in May 2017 Magna Cum Laude. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif. Michael has a Master of Arts in Philosophy from George Mason University.

Michael has been licensed and practicing law since December 2017, with a background in general practice, focusing on Family Law, Criminal Defense and Plaintiff’s Civil Rights Litigation. Michael has tried cases in State and Federal Court in multiple jurisdictions and enjoys being in the courtroom. He is passionate about helping individuals protect their rights, and the rights of their children, in family law proceedings. Michael enjoys doing pro bono work, including for the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Service, to give back to the community by providing legal services to those with limited financial means.

Michael has two young children and spends his free time doing outdoor activities like hiking and camping with his family.
